Somer Valley Links Project

13/07/2023 by admin Parish Council

The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) is working on several projects to put in place the infrastructure to improve bus services, walking and cycling as part of the their vision for a greener, better connected transport network.  One of these projects is the ‘Somer Valley Links’ covering travel between Midsomer Norton, Westfield and Radstock and Bath/Bristol along the A37, A362 and A367.  Proposals include: improved bus stops; extended bus lanes and improved junctions; new cycling and walking routes; and mobility hubs. There will be a consultation period running until 6th August 2023 to obtain views and comments from residents on the proposals and to ensure that the best possible options are chosen.   For further details and to complete the questionnaire online please go to www.haveyoursaywest.co.uk
