North Road will be closed to all traffic with effect from 10th January 2023 in the interests of public safety, to enable Bristol Water to carry out an emergency repair to a burst water main.
The road will be closed at North Road, Timsbury outside Seven Stars Inn, but the closure shall not apply to any vehicle associated with the works.
Alternative Route: Hook Hill(B3115) – Weekesley Lane – Bath Road – Church Street – Hallatrow Road(B3355) – Paulton Road(B3355) – Highbury Road(A39) – High Street – New Road(A39) – Hayeswood Road(B3115) – Vice Versa.
The closure and diversion will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 10th January 2023 and the road closure is anticipated to be required for 3 days. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 7 days.
