‘When Coal was King’ Somer Valley FM – Walks Books, Timsbury

18/03/2024 by admin Parish Council

Bryn Hawkins will be recording an interview with Peter Bradshaw and Larry Cunningham on Tuesday 19th March for Somer Valley FM.  They will be talking about the five very popular walking books which include many interesting walks in and around Timsbury, as well as the area immediately beyond the village.  The conversation will include how the routes chosen encourage you to look at history in the landscape, including the remains of former coal mines.  Tune in to Somer Valley FM at 7pm on Thursday 28th March to hear the full interview.
