Timsbury is a friendly and attractive village in north east Somerset, surrounded by lovely rolling hills and valleys.
It is an active community with many wonderful walks in the area.
Timsbury has an interesting history including some remains of early coal mining blended into the landscape, such as the Somersetshire coal canal.
It has many buildings of both architectural and historical interest contained mainly in the central Conservation Area.
It has a lively population of over 2,600 in 1,130 households.

All houses receive the village Newsletter 11 months of the year.
Timsbury Parish Council is active in running services and improving the village with the community.
It is a good base to discover Somerset and Bath with lovely interesting walks and cycle routes to discover the countryside, the Cam river valley, wildlife and history with old buildings and the canals.
