Timsbury Wives’ group

An open group of women who meet socially for talks, trips and other activities. We meet on 2nd Wednesday of each month at 2pm in the Conygre Hall bowling alley room. New members are welcome at any time.

Timsbury Women’s Institute (WI)

New members and visitors are always welcome. We normally have a speaker; covering a variety of wide ranging topics; social time which includes a cup of tea / coffee and a chat plus the opportunity to sign up for any of the optional activities on offer. Make Friends, Have Fun, Participate! We meet on the first Thursday of each Month (except August), 7.30pm at the Conygre Hall.

Goldies Sing&Smile

Goldies sessions are fun social groups where we sing-along to the uplifting popular hits of the 50s onwards, chat, laugh and reminisce over a cuppa.  Goldies is open to everyone but, particularly aims to combat isolation with anyone experiencing loneliness.

We meet on the SECOND WEDNESDAY of each month at the Conygre Hall and Sue Crick will welcome you from 11am to 12 noon.No need to book, just turn up. We ask for a £3 donation to attend.

Pantry foodbank

To support residents who are struggling, with food items mainly. Open 24/7 by the South Road Methodists chapel in South Road. Food and cash donations welcome anytime. Managed by volunteers.

Greenhill House, Leonard Cheshire Disability

South Road, Timsbury BA2 0ES

A welcoming Care Home, with nursing care, providing a range of services for 38 adults with physical disabilities. We aim to support all of our residents to be independent and get the most out of life – both in the home and local community. Volunteers from Timsbury and the wider area help the Home in many ways – join us at any time.

Royal British Legion club

This is a social club in Newmans Lane that anyone can join. Find out about the many events and activities via the Facebook Page or phone 01761 470232. Drop in any evening to have a look and say hello.

It is has a skittles lane with a very active team as part of a league.
