As a first step the Council invites all those interested in contributing to the preparation of a plan to discuss the proposal at a public meeting to begin at 7.30pm in the Conygre Hall on 14th … [Read more...] about Towards a Neighbourhood Plan

25/08/2025 by Timsbury Parish Council

The penultimate weekend of the cricket season saw Timsbury produce one of their most disappointing displays of the campaign. But despite an 82-run away defeat at Hambrook there is still everything to play for on the last day of the Bristol and District League Division 1 season. Starting the weekend in top place Timsbury now lie third but significantly they are at home to second placed Whitchurch and victory would ensure promotion.  After electing to bat first Hambrook went off like a train … [Read more...] about Timsbury cricket 23.08.2025

04/08/2025 by Timsbury Parish Council

For the second time this season Timsbury and Keynsham second eleven served up a thrilling encounter in the Bristol and District League Division 1 and just like their first meeting it went to the very last ball of the match. Needing six to win the visitors, Keynsham, could manage just a single and Timsbury triumphed by four runs. Having been put into bat the home side lost Greg Passingham early on.
