The memorial to villagers who died during the 1914-18 and 1939-45 wars was rededicated with a short service on Saturday, June 8th. South Road resurfacing
Resurfacing works on South Road is scheduled to start on Monday 17th June. The works will extend from the junction of Church Hill to the junction of Lansdown Crescent, (including the Junction of Radford Hill). Further details are available here. The road will be closed from 7.00am to 7.00pm and is expected to take up to two weeks to complete, subject to the weather. Youth Cricket Presentation 2018
The Youth section of Timsbury Cricket Club looked back on another enjoyable season when it held its annual Presentation night in the clubroom. The Club Chairman Austin Sage said how delighted he was to see so many people at the function and thanked the coaches, managers, parents and groundsmen for all their support throughout the year. 2018 Cricket Club Presentation Night
The clubroom of Timsbury Cricket Club was packed for the annual Presentation evening (scroll down for images) with all three teams well represented. It had been a momentous season with both the first and second teams gaining promotion but also a sad one following the recent death of Club President John Newth and that of club stalwart Colin Weaver earlier in the year.
