It was a disappointing start to the new league cricket season for Timsbury Cricket Club with defeats for all three teams. There was a huge gulf in the margins of defeat, however, with the first team losing by ten wickets at home to Frenchay but the third team going down by just four runs at home to Chipping Sodbury fourths. From Dr Bruce Laurence - Director of Public Health, B&NES on 14th January We’ve seen a rapid rise in the number of Covid cases across Bath and North East Somerset. The Clutton, Pensford, and Temple Cloud areas are particularly high, with a rate of over 800 new cases per 100,000 in the week ending 6th January.
