Cheaper bus fares from September 25th
New charges for journeys will start from 25 September on the vast majority of West of England buses before being introduced across all routes, regardless of operator, by the end of next month. All single adult bus tickets in Bristol and Bath will be reduced to £2 for adults while returns will cost £3.50. The Conygre Hall is the starting point for several walks in the Somer Valley Walking Festival on Sunday 11th of September. These include a six-mile walk taking in the Coal Canal, Greyfield Wood and William Smith’s home near High Littleton; an eight-mile walk along the Cam Valley to Clandown and back along the Coal Canal; a 12-mile walk to Clutton and Marksbury; a 7.5 mile walk via Camerton and Peasedown.
