Timsbury Athletic again demonstrated why they are one of the frontrunners in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Division 1 with a comprehensive 6-2 victory at home to Yatton and Cleeve Utd. A combination of fluent football and clinical finishing proved far too much for the visitors who kept going to the end and were rewarded with two late goals. A devastating  17-minute spell at the beginning of the second half in which they scored four times saw Timsbury Athletic strengthen their challenge at the top of the table in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Division 1 against fourth placed Uphill Castle. First Division Timsbury Athletic twice came within one successful penalty of knocking out another Premier League side in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Cup competition for Premier and Division One sides but in the end it was Chilcompton Sports who prevailed to win the penalty shoot-out 6-5. Timsbury Athletic continued their fine start to the new campaign with a 6-2 home win against Nailsea and Tickenham Reserves in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Division 1 but it was a victory that came at a huge cost. Timsbury Athletic’s excellent start to the new season continued with an impressive 2-1 win against Winscombe in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Division 1. Timsbury wasted a great opportunity of making further progress in the Bristol and District League Senior Division with a poor batting display losing by 42 runs away to bottom club Shirehampton.
