Timsbury were left bemoaning their luck after suffering a four-wicket home defeat to Bristol Pakistanis in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division. After posting a more than competitive total of 186-9 from their 38 overs the home side were frustrated by a long break for rain which eventually resulted in a late night 20-over contest that was always going to favour the side batting second. A copybook century from Mark Sage was the highlight of Timsbury 1st XI’s crucial 82-run victory away to close rivals Hanham in the Bristol and District League Senior Divisio . Timsbury 1st XI enjoyed a day to remember with a comprehensive ten-wicket win at home to Clevedon seconds  in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division. Having dismissed the visitors for 81 Timsbury reached their target just after four o’clock without losing a wicket. Gary Pearcy made the early breakthrough for the home side and then Kev Sibley bowled a typically miserly spell of nine overs taking 3-12. Timsbury 1st XI’s batting woes continued in their home match with Claverham in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division finishing 49 runs short of their target after dismissing the visitors for 132. Timsbury had put in a strong performance in the field giving themselves a good chance of a second victory of the season. A vastly understrength Timsbury 1st XI proved no match for Stapleton in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division and were beaten at home by eight wickets.
