New bus service from April 2nd.
Service 522 Bath – Midsomer Norton – Keynsham – Bristol – as a result of the West of England Combined Authority and North Somerset Council Bus Service Improvement Plan, a new service 522 will be introduced. This will operate hourly, Monday-Sunday, between Bristol Bus Station and Bath Bus Station via Keynsham, Timsbury, High Littleton, Paulton, Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Peasdown St. John. On Thursday 4 May 2023 local elections are taking place in Bath and North East Somerset. Changes to legislation mean that voters will need to show photo ID when voting in person at a polling station. Co-ordinator of the Timsbury Community Library The Community Library in Timsbury opened in November 2018 and is based at the YMCA building in the centre of the village. The Library is part of the Libraries West system with B&NES. It is staffed by a team of Volunteers and opens on four days a week for two to three hours each time. Keeping the village Litter free
Les Robbins, who has picked up litter around the village for many years, is unwell and has been in hospital for several weeks. He is described as poorly but stabilised. Hopefully he will be allowed home soon. The recent increase in litter around the village is testament to the good work Les has been doing on our behalf. His efforts are, and will be, much missed.
