2021 Cricket Club Presentation Night
Camerton Village Hall was packed for the annual Presentation evening of Timsbury Cricket Club with all three teams well represented. The evening began with applause for all those associated with the club who had been lost over the last couple of years. The Parish Council has received the sum of £50,216. The money must be spent within the next five years on village infrastructure for the benefit of the community. The money comes from a levy imposed by B&NES Council on the new Upper Conygre development which is situated at the crossroads on the old mining site (formerly known as Wheelers Yard). Timsbury produced a fine all round performance to beat Clevedon 2nd XI by 20 runs at home in the Bristol and District League Senior Division.
