Bloomfield Road closure from June 8th
The length of Timsbury Road / Bloomfield Road, from a point 60m south of Hillside Farm to the junction with North Road, will be closed for carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works from Monday, June 8th. See the map here for the extent of the works. All celebrations that were planned throughout the country for this day sadly had to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus. However, the Royal British Legion Somerset have asked all Branches to parade their Standard in their communities on the 8th May at 1100hrs to observe the two minutes silence. Garden waste collections resume
B&NES Council is restarting fortnightly garden waste collections on Monday, April 27th after the service was temporarily paused due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Residents will receive extra green waste collections before they are asked to renew, to make up for missed collections. Existing garden waste stickers will now be valid until July 18th 2020 to make up for the missed collections.
