26 New Houses Approved in Timsbury
The planning application to develop the derelict site at the corner of North Road and The Avenue has at last been approved by B&NES Council, with some conditions currently being investigated. 26 new houses will be built, plus some office spaces. There will be a new road onto North Road and pedestrian facilities. This follows much consultation by the owner with the Parish Council and the village during 2018. Parish Council Village Precept for 2020/21
The Timsbury Parish Council Precept for the village that will be included in Council Tax bills for the year from April 2020/21 will amount to £69,000. This total will be divided between the households in the village (approximately 1,200) according to Council Tax band and the number of adults in residence. New investment in key priority areas including tackling the climate emergency and delivering more affordable housing, will be considered by Bath & North East Somerset Council’s cabinet as part of its budget-setting process.
