It proved a disappointing weekend for Timsbury Cricket Club with all three teams suffering defeats. The first team’s position at the top of the Bristol and District League Division 1 lasted just one week following a seven-wicket defeat away to Whitchurch. With one game of the first half of the season to go Timsbury stand at the top of the Bristol and District League Division 1. A fine all-round display saw  Timsbury win by 103 runs away to Clevedon 2nd XI in the  Bristol and District League Division 1 to move to second place in the table. The confident start to the season has seen them win five matches out of seven with just one defeat. In a weekend full of drama Timsbury enjoyed its best day of the season with another nailbiting win for the first team, a thrilling run chase for the seconds and an amazing fightback from the third eleven to claim an exciting tie.
