Timsbury Athletic are through to the semi-finals of the Uhlsport Somerset County League Cup for Premier and Division 1 teams after a hard fought 3-1 home win against Division 1 local rivals Peasedown Miners Welfare. Roger Bird has been such an influential member of Timsbury Cricket Club for so long that it is difficult to envisage a future without him.
