A copybook century from Mark Sage was the highlight of Timsbury 1st XI’s crucial 82-run victory away to close rivals Hanham in the Bristol and District League Senior Divisio . Timsbury 1st XI enjoyed a day to remember with a comprehensive ten-wicket win at home to Clevedon seconds  in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division. Having dismissed the visitors for 81 Timsbury reached their target just after four o’clock without losing a wicket. Timsbury 1st XI’s batting woes continued in their home match with Claverham in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division finishing 49 runs short of their target after dismissing the visitors for 132. Timsbury had put in a strong performance in the field giving themselves a good chance of a second victory of the season. A vastly understrength Timsbury 1st XI proved no match for Stapleton in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division and were beaten at home by eight wickets.  Timsbury 1st XI opened their campaign in the Bristol and District League Senior  Division with a crushing defeat at home to Bradley Stoke  but there was much better news for the club’s second string and  third eleven. Timsbury Athletic had much the better of their local derby with Clutton in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Premier Division and three goals in each half saw them claim a 6-0 home victory. Timsbury Athletic 1 Yatton and Cleeve Utd 1 Stand-in keeper Jesse Bishop became a late hero for Timsbury Athletic who progressed to the semi-finals of the Somerset Senior Cup after beating Yatton and Cleeve United 5-3 on penalties after the match had ended in a 1-1 draw.
