Timsbury made it six wins out of seven in the Bristol and District League Division 1 after a fine win at Hambrook. Facing a challenging total of 217-7 Timsbury got over the line with 10 balls and four wickets to spare. Timsbury strengthed their position at the top of the Bristol and District League Division 1 with a  convincing  51-run win away to Lodway. Timsbury have gone to the top of the Bristol and District League Division 1 after a convincing 83-run home win over Portishead. For the second week in  a row victory was set up by an excellent opening partnership between Mark Sage and Greg Passingham. It was not a great weekend for Timsbury with all three teams defeated in the Bristol and District League followed by an early exit from the National Village Cup.  The first eleven made the short trip to Keynsham 2nd XI  in the Bristol and District League Division 1 and were defeated by 21 runs. Timsbury began the new cricket season with an encouraging 26-run home win against Golden Hill 2nd XI in  the Bristol and District League Division 1. After the prolonged rainfall of recent weeks neither side found batting easy on a predictably slow wicket but in the end it was a comfortable win for the home side. Timsbury Athletic gave one of their most committed performances of the season  at home to league leaders Mendip Broadwalk in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Premier Division but in the end it was not quite enough. A goal 15 minutes from time from Jack Medjedoub ultimately decided the clash and took the Bristol side a step nearer to the championship.
