Timsbury strengthened their hold at the top of  the Bristol and District League Division 1 after a 20-run home win against close rivals Lansdown 2nd XI. There was also great news for the Timsbury 2nd XI who recorded their first win of the season with a three-wicket win away to Stapleton 2nd XI. Timsbury made it six wins out of seven in the Bristol and District League Division 1 after a fine win at Hambrook. Facing a challenging total of 217-7 Timsbury got over the line with 10 balls and four wickets to spare. It was not a great weekend for Timsbury with all three teams defeated in the Bristol and District League followed by an early exit from the National Village Cup.  The first eleven made the short trip to Keynsham 2nd XI  in the Bristol and District League Division 1 and were defeated by 21 runs.
