The Parish Council is currently working with children from Year 6 at St Marys to repaint the faded picture on the back wall of the bus stop in North Road, near the Conygre Hall. Timsbury Library – Summer Reading Challenge
This years Summer Reading Challenge is almost here! Starting from the 13th July, come and sign your children up in the library for the Summer Reading challenge. Once they are signed up they will get a sticker chart to complete for each book they read, when they complete all six reads they can win a medal and certificate. Timsbury made it six wins out of seven in the Bristol and District League Division 1 after a fine win at Hambrook. Facing a challenging total of 217-7 Timsbury got over the line with 10 balls and four wickets to spare. Football Presentation Night 2024
Timsbury Athletic celebrated another impressive season when it held its annual Presentation Night in the Cricket Clubroom. The first team finished a highly-creditable fourth in the Somerset County League Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the League Cup. Closure of Hayeswood Road – 21st June 2024
The B3115 Hayeswood Road from the junction with A39 New Road extending east to its junction with Mearns Hill will be subject to a temporary road closure on 21st June 2024 anticipated to be for one day between 0800 and 1700 hrs to enable Openreach to carry out a pole replacement.
