Timsbury Athletic produced one of their most resilient performances of the season in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Premier Division with a 4-1 home win against close rivals Wells City Reserves. It was an entertaining game between two good sides who defied the heavy conditions on a pitch that had miraculously survived the week’s monsoon weather. Against a side that had often been Timsbury’s nemesis, the home team  made an excellent start and were two up after just 12 minutes. First Liam … [Read more...] about Football 17.02.2024: Timsbury Athletic 4 Wells City Reserves 1

Most of the drama in Timsbury Athletic’s home match with Chard Town in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Premier Division came in the last few minutes of the game when the outcome of the contest changed three times. It was a dramatic end to what overall had been a scrappy untidy affair. In the early minutes of the game Ellis Hancock scuffed his shot just wide of the post while at the other end Timsbury keeper Jack Williams made a crucial save from Joe Chamberlain. The home side took the lead … [Read more...] about Football 3.02.2024: Timsbury Athletic 2 Chard Town 3

Timsbury Athletic moved up to third place in the Uhlsport Somerset County League Premier Division after another strong performance which saw them defeat the in-form Somerton Town side 4-1 at home.
